Beccles Co-operative Travel Branch is hoping to help children enjoy an egg-cellent Easter

Co-operative Travel in Beccles has launched its annual Easter Egg Appeal in a bid to support children in the area – and customers and the community are being asked to offer their support.

The Co-operative Travel in Beales Department Store, Beccles, is collecting Easter eggs for James Paget Hospital Children’s Ward. The Easter eggs will be distributed to children in the hospital just in time for Easter Sunday.

Travel branch manager, Teresa Bailey-Green, said “We’re asking our customers and friends to help us donate as many Easter eggs as possible, to children in the local area. All gifts will be donated to the Children’s Ward at James Paget Hospital.

“It is the eleventh year that Central England Co-operative has organised this activity and we are hoping to put smiles on even more children’s faces this year.”

If you would like to donate an Easter egg, simply take it to the Central England Co-operative travel branch in Beccles by 5pm on Saturday, 8 April.
