Co-operative Travel in Lowestoft has launched its annual Easter Egg Appeal in a bid to support children in the area – and customers and the community are being asked to offer their support.

The Co-operative Travel, in 132 London Road North, is collecting Easter eggs for local charity, Break. The Easter eggs will be distributed to children in the area just in time for Easter Sunday.

Travel branch manager Samantha Fordham said: “We’re asking our customers and friends to help us donate as many Easter eggs as possible, to local charity, Break. All the gifts will be donated to children in the local area.

“It is the eleventh year that Central England Co-operative has organised this activity and we are hoping to put smiles on even more faces this year.”

Michael Rooney, Commercial Director for Break said, "A big thank you to Lowestoft Co-operative Branch for organising an Easter Eggstravaganza to benefit our children and young people this Easter, you are changing young lives".

If you would like to donate an Easter egg, simply take it to the Central England Co-operative travel branch in Lowestoft by 5pm on Tuesday, 11 April.
