Our Glenfield supermarket continues it's amazing transformation.

Over the 12 weeks of the development we will making some exciting changes to the Glenfield store to deliver a greater variety and new shopping choices for our customers.

Ruth Preston, Store Manager, and her team, will be giving you an update every week on how the changes are progressing.

It's week 5 of the exciting development and we chat to Joy, a team leader at the store. "Here at #DestinationGlenfield, everything seems to be coming together really well for the grand opening of Phase Two!

Last week we saw the new refrigeration being installed. This week the fixtures for the ambient food and non food are being put in place.

The area is now beginning to look more like a food store, with the new black stands for In Store Bakery, Bread and Bakery Snacks, and Wines all in place ready to be filled.

The Pick Of The Crop produce fixture is also in place and waiting for this new edition to our range. We are all getting really excited about moving into the new side of the store over the weekend ready for trading from Monday 15th of February.

We have been continuing with recruitment this week. The standard has been so high that we will have to make some tough decisions soon"

Join us next week to find out more about the exciting developments at destination Glenfield. And if you have any questions regarding the developments, you can contact our team via Twitter using the hashtag #destinationglenfield
