Join In: Our new community and membership newspaper

Posted by Rob Smyth | 22/06/2017 | Category: Community

Join In is our brand new newspaper for members and customers that keeps you up to date with all our community news, stories and updates.

This free publication can now be picked up when you pop into your local Central England Co-operative store.

For those who don’t already know we are one of the largest independent co-operative societies in the UK, with over 400 trading outlets across 16 counties, employing over 8,700 people.

We have had a strong start to 2017, including opening and refurbishing several food stores and funeral homes, enjoyed continued success in our Travel business, handing out over £100,000 to good causes and being awarded for our work as a responsible business.

In the first edition we’re showcasing our Community Dividend Fund and some of the amazing good causes we have supported, we take a look at what it means to be a member and how you can make the most of the benefits, and we shine a light on community projects that make real a difference to people’s lives.

This summer is already shaping up to be filled with exciting new stories and the Join In newspaper is a great way of letting you know all about what we do as a modern, progressive member owned co-operative business.

If you like what you see and you are not a member of Central England Co-operative, turn to the back page to find out all about membership benefits and how you can easily sign up.

We hope that you enjoy reading Join In and we would love to hear what you think – Tweet us @mycoopfood, find us on Facebook, or visit centralengland.coop
