New Look Oakham - Week 4

Our Oakham store has gone through quite a make-over.

To celebrate this, we will be talking to different colleagues involved in the transformation.  We are now enter the fourth week of the make-over and we chat to Troy, a customer service assistant at the 'New look Oakham' store.

So Troy, tell us what the latest is at Oakham, "Finally, after six weeks we re-launched our #newlookoakham store on Friday.  The opening was performed by the retired town crier, Lewis Carlin, and Jayne Walton our Store manager.  The store team were supported by colleagues from funeral services,  the business support centre and colleagues from our new concession M & Co.

Local suppliers were also in-store conducting tastings of products from our new premium deli offer.

The store was very busy for the re-launch and there was a great buzz around M & Co opening for trade for the first time in -store. Customer feedback has been very good with customers liking the focus on local products, the new fresh fish counter and the improved layout of the store.  The introduction of M & Co. has been very well received by our customers."

If you have any questions regarding the developments, you can contact our team via Twitter using the hashtag #newlookOakham
