Central England Co-operative is the local helping hand for shoppers in its communities this Christmas with a selection of fun and inspiring stocking fillers to pop under the tree.

Stores across the Society’s trading area will be open longer, later and filled with goodies that will bring comfort and joy on 25 December.

  1. If your friends and family like to be cosy, get a bit of hygge into their lives. This Danish word (pronounced 'hooga') translates roughly to 'cosiness'. Loved ones who want the ultimate snuggling-down-with-a-hot-chocolate experience will love our novelty socks in a mug (£4), ladies’ and gents’ Reindeer or Santa slipper socks (£4) and super-cuddly furry hot water bottles (£9).
  2. Chocolate lovers will enjoy finding a little extra sophistication in their stocking this Christmas in the shape of Co-op Irresistible Belgian Seashells (£2).
  3. For mini music lovers, pick up copies of the annual classics NOW That’s What I Call Disney 2017 and NOW Christmas (£12.99 each), whilst older friends and family members might enjoy Sam Smith’s “The Thrill Of It All” (£10.99) and Ed Sheeran’s “Divide” (£9.99).
  4. With the new Star Wars movie out this month, younger fans will enjoy finding Star Wars  glow-in-the-dark lightsaber pens, Star Wars notebooks, and Storm Trooper multi-colour pens at the bottom of their stockings (prices from £3).
  5. There are books to suit everyone from “F1 Legends” for Dad to “My First Little Christmas Library” for the newest addition to the family (prices from £5).
  6. Shoppers who are taking part in Secret Santa events at work or at home can find inspiration on our shelves with the fun Desktop Hook a Duck (£5), the colour-changing Mood Mug (£5) or the practical and fun Pinot Penguin wine sleeve (£5) for those who like a Christmas tipple.
  7. Stocking fillers still deserve to be beautifully presented, so customers can ensure their little gifts looks great in our extensive range of gift wraps and bags.

Any one of these items and hundreds more from our range can be picked up right up until late on Christmas Eve, when the majority of our convenience stores and supermarkets will be open later.
