Cheese and Pear Tarts
Serves: 12 / Preparation time: 12 minutes / Cooking time: 25 minutes
Preheat the oven to 200°C/fan 180°C/Gas 6. Unroll the puff pastry and cut into 12 rectangles. Place the rectangles on a baking sheet and score a border about 3-4mm inside the edges of each one. Bake for 15 minutes until slightly golden.
Flatten the pastry inside the borders and spread with redcurrant jelly. Top each one with 2 thin wedges of pear and crumble over the cheese.
- Bake for 10 minutes, until the cheese has melted. Serve topped with a sprig of watercress, if you wish.
