Maple Roasted Parsnips

Ingredients
- 1 kg parsnips (about 12)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp (heaped) sesame seeds
Method
- Preheat the oven to 190°C/fan 180°C/Gas 5. Peel the parsnips, cut each one in half widthways, then cut the thick end in half again, or enough times to give even-sized pieces.
- Put all the parsnips in a roasting dish with the oil and roast for 30 minutes. Add the maple syrup and sesame seeds and roast for another 15 minutes.
