Beccles Co-operative Travel Branch set to sprinkle a bit of magic this Christmas

A local travel branch in Beccles has launched its annual Christmas appeal to spread some festive cheer by supporting rescue dogs in the area and is asking customers and the local community to support the campaign.

The Co-operative Travel in Beales Department Store is collecting leads, collars and toys (new items only) for Meadow Green Dog Rescue Centre with items for the many rescue dogs in Beccles and the surrounding areas.

Beccles Travel Branch Manager, Teresa Bailey-Green, explains: “Christmas is a time of celebration for most of us but it’s also a time when we should think about those in need and that includes our four legged friends.  We’re asking our customers and friends to help us fill Santa’s suitcase with items for the many rescue dogs in Beccles.

“It’s the fifteenth year that Central England Co-operative has organised this activity and we are hoping to collect plenty of doggy goodies and essentials to help the home in their important work.”

If you would like to donate an item simply take it to the Central England Co-operative Travel Branch in Beales Department Store by 5pm on Thursday 15 December 2016.
