Central England Co-op invests nearly £50K in revamping food store in Atherstone

CENTRAL ENGLAND CO-OPERATIVE INVESTS NEARLY £50K IN REVAMPING FOOD STORE IN ATHERSTONE

Central England Co-op is opening the doors to its refreshed store in Long Street, Atherstone this Friday, 27 April.

The store has been given a nearly £50k transformation of the store to provide its members and customers with an improved shopping experience. 

The refresh includes interior paintwork, extended beer, wines and spirits chillers, upgraded chiller doors, refurbishment of the kiosk, new frozen food cases, lighting and exterior signage.

Long Street Co-operative Store Manager Liz Quinn said: “Our team has been so excited. The revamp looks fantastic and already customers have been making many positive comments about how it looks.
“I would like to thank our members and customers for their patience during our refresh and I hope they enjoy the changes as much as we do. 
“All of us here at Long Street Co-operative food store are proud to be part of such a great community in Atherstone and are looking forward to welcoming customers, new and old, to come and enjoy our food store.”
The Atherstone Co-operative food store is open 7am to 9pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.  
The store has a wide range of products from everyday necessities to something a little more special. The offer includes fresh and local fruit and vegetables, chilled beers and wines, fresh and frozen product and Irresistible product ranges.
