Central England Co-op Travel collects donations for Birmingham Dogs’ Home, in Christmas appeal

Central England Co-operative Travel is again collecting donations of canine products for the Birmingham Dogs’ Home, to help as much as they can to feed and care for the dogs in the home this Christmas.

The store in Erdington will be collecting donations from now until 15 December, to help the charity look after the dogs they house this Christmas. Both customers and colleagues will be collecting for the charity, as the staff are all animal lovers and they find many customers in the area have the same desire to support the work of the dogs’ home.

Michaela Matthews, Branch Manager at the Erdington Travel Branch said: “We are all animal lovers, and we wanted to do what we could for Birmingham Dogs’ Home this year. Our customers always get behind our chosen charity, which makes it all the more special.”

The Santa’s Suitcase initiative has been a great success for the Society, and each Central England Co-operative Travel store chooses the charity that it collects for and donates to.

If you would like to help by donating any of the items needed, please do go into the Central England Co-operative Travel Branch at Co-op Superstore, 80 High Street, Erdington, Birmingham     B23 6RS and speak to the team. The closing date for donations is 5pm on 15 December 2018.
