Central England Co-operative Travel is delighted to announce that it has been nominated for two top awards.

Colleagues from across 20 Travel Shops were jumping for joy after learning they had been shortlisted in the Best Large Agency category for the central region at the Travel Weekly Agent Achievement Awards (AAAs).

There was further cause for celebration after Clare Slattery was nominated for Leisure Agent of the Year for her role as Assistant Manager at our Thetford Travel Shop.

The AAAs are the biggest celebration of the travel trade in the UK and the winners will be announced as part of a glamorous ceremony in London on July 12.

Paul Dale, Head of Specialist Businesses at Central England Co-op, said: “I am so proud that our Travel business has been nominated for these top awards at what is our industries version of the Oscars.

“I would like to say a big thank to all of the colleagues in Travel who often go the extra mile as a team and showcase commitment and passion at the heart of everything they do.

“Extra congratulations should also go to Clare who has been singled out for her efforts to go above and beyond for her customers.

“The awards are designed to help celebrate the best of the best and we all now have our fingers crossed ahead of finding out the winners in July.”
