Central England Co-operative funeralcare colleagues work together to support Christmas event

Colleagues from Central England Co-operative funeralcare have been getting in the festive spirit by supporting a Christmas community event.

Teams from Richard Barnes Funeral Director, in Wilton Road, and The Co-operative funeralcare, in Scalford Road, have been working hard to support the local parish church in Melton Mowbray as part of the annual Christmas Tree Festival.

Both Funeral Homes donated 30 bottles of mulled wine and some pencils to support a children’s quiz.

The event welcomes people from all over the country as it features over 1,000 trees and runs until Tuesday, 6 December.
