Central England Co-operative get set to spread some festive joy in Peterborough

Central England Co-operative will be helping people in Peterborough get into the Christmas spirit at a traditional event.

The Society is supporting the Business and Shoppers’ Carols event at Peterborough Cathedral at lunchtime on Thursday, 22 December.

The Eastern Membership and Community Council will be providing mulled wine and minced pies for everyone in attendance as well as promoting membership and the Community Dividend Fund.

Colleagues from Central England Co-operative funeralcare will also be on hand to talk about the ‘Star for a Star’ campaign.

The initiative allows families, who wish to remember a loved one, to place a star, with their own personalised message, on a Christmas tree for a charitable donation.

All money raised goes to local charities.
