Central England Co-operative opens revamped Funeral Home following £221,000 investment

Central England Co-operative Funeralcare has officially opened a revamped Funeral Home in Leicester following a major investment.
The Funeral Home is based in Wyngate Drive, Braunstone, and a total of £221,000 has been invested in the upgrades. The home now boasts a vastly superior look and feel for families with improvements including new signage, furniture, decoration, air conditioning and energy efficient LED lighting, as well as a resurfaced area in front of the building with easy to access parking facilities.
Funeral Director Darren Anstee has been serving the local community for the past eight years along with his team of colleagues at Wyngate Drive, supporting families at the Funeral Home or in the comfort of their own homes.
Darren said: “This is a very exciting time for my team and we are proud to be part of the community in Braunstone. Our first priority is to enhance memories and love for all of our families and we are very pleased to offer that at our revamped home in the area.
“We feel it reflects our commitment to providing excellent standards of care for our families during their time of bereavement.
“The home now offers a brighter and friendlier environment to arrange funerals and visit loved ones, as well as improved facilities to better look after those in our care.”
The funeral home offers a 24-hour service, seven days a week. In addition to arranging funerals, Darren and his team are also able to offer advice on floral tributes, monumental masonry, funeral stationery, pre-paid funeral plans and probate advice. The team can be contacted on 0116 255 3001.
