Central England Co-operative will be opening its doors to let people take a look around its brand new funeral home in Glenfield.

The new funeral home is based in Tournament Road and colleagues will be holding a special community and dedication day on Tuesday, 11 October.

From 10am to 3pm colleagues from the funeral home will be able to meet local people and showcase what the new home has to offer.

Then at 3pm there will be a special dedication service to officially mark the opening of the new home.

Funeral Director Pam Sheppard said: “This is a very exciting time for my team and preparations for the big day are well under way. The community and dedication day will begin at 10am and we are holding a dedication service at 3pm. Locals have the opportunity to meet the Glenfield team, learn more about pre-paid funeral plans, enjoy light refreshments and be in with a chance of winning a luxury food hamper. We look forward to seeing you there.”

The funeral home offers a 24 hour service, seven days a week.  In addition to arranging funerals, Pam and her team are also able to offer advice on floral tributes, monumental masonry, funeral stationery, pre-paid funeral plans and probate advice.

The team can be contacted on 0116 232 2373.
