Get behind the Santa’s Suitcase appeal at 15 Central England Co-op Travel Branches this Chrismas

15 travel branches have launched their annual Christmas appeal to spread some festive cheer to those in need in the area is asking customers and the local community to support the campaign. 

The 15 travel branches are collecting gifts for children, families and dogs, which will be distributed to those in need in the local area. The 15 travel branches are supporting:

• Central England Co-operative Bedford Travel Branch – FACES
• Central England Co-operative Bourne Travel Branch – Amazon Children’s Ward, Peterborough City Hospital 
• Central England Co-operative Cromer Travel Branch – Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
• Central England Co-operative Diss Travel Branch – East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices
• Central England Co-operative Erdington Travel Branch – Birmingham Dogs Home
• Central England Co-operative Kings Lynn Travel Branch – East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices
• Central England Co-operative Lowestoft Travel Branch – Liberty Project
• Central England Co-operative Market Deeping Travel Branch  – Amazon Children’s Ward, Peterborough City Hospital 
• Central England Co-operative March Travel Branch – Ormiston Families
• Central England Co-operative Peterborough Travel Branch – The Salvation Army

Paul Dale, Head of Specialist Businesses at Central England Co-operative, explains: "Christmas is a time of celebration for most of us and we are proud to support local charities within our trading area. We’re asking our customers and friends to help us fill Santa’s suitcase with gift items for children, families and dogs in need in the local area.

“It’s the sixth year that Central England Co-operative has organised this activity and we are hoping to put smiles on even more faces this year.”

The appeal needs items for all age ranges – unfortunately, for health and safety reasons, they cannot accept second-hand or cuddly toys.
