Hardworking Clare rewarded for her ‘outstanding’ effort at Thetford Central England Co-op branch

A hardworking assistant manager at Central England Co-operative Travel in Thetford has been celebrating after being rewarded for her ‘outstanding’ effort at a glamorous award ceremony.

Clare Slattery saw off tough competition to land the coveted outstanding achievement award at an annual retail awards ceremony.

She was nominated for the award for providing great customer service, helping to roll out new systems and supporting various projects in the local community.

Angela McCall, Thetford Branch Manager, said: “We are all so proud of Clare and there is nobody who is more deserving of the award.

“She has been at the branch for 11 years and makes a massive difference to Central England Co-operative, our customers and the community.”

Paul Dale, Head of Specialist Business at Central England Co-op, said: “I would like to congratulate Clare on scooping the outstanding achievement award at our annual conference designed to celebrate the best of the best.

“Clare always goes above and beyond and we are pleased to be able to reward her for her excellent customer service standards, supporting the community, and going the extra mile.”
