Hundreds of shoppers pick up a free Subway at Wirksworth Co-op

Central England Co-operative Wirksworth Petrol Filling Station officially opened the doors to its newest offering – Subway today, Friday 18 November.

Hundreds of shoppers took advantage of the special grand opening offer – buy a drink and receive a 6-inch Sub absolutely free.  

Central England Co-operative Wirksworth Store Manager, Nathan Burrows, said: “We have had a great opening event to celebrate the installation of Subway and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank our members and customers for their patience over the last few months.

“All of us here at Wirksworth Co-operative food store are proud to be part of such a great community and are looking forward to welcoming customers, new and old, to come and enjoy our food store.”

The Wirksworth Co-operative Petrol Filling Station is open from 6am – 10am every day. The store offers a wide range of products from everyday necessities to something a little more special. The store offer includes: fresh and local fruit and vegetables, an in-store bakery for breads and pastries, chilled beers and wines, fresh and frozen product, Costa Coffee, Bake and Bite – hot food to go and Irresistible product ranges.

The store also offers; A Subway, Paypoint, Lottery, foreign currency and a free cash machine.
