New research reveals the top 10 last-minute items people forget to pick up on Christmas Eve

With Christmas just days away, people across the country will be dashing around ensuring everything is just perfect for the festive period.

However, what happens if disaster strikes at the eleventh hour on Christmas Eve and you realise you haven’t got the tinfoil for the turkey or the milk for that early morning cup of tea as the kids open their presents?

Well, help is at hand from Central England Co-operative who, based on research of shopping trends in 2015, have provided their top 10 last minute essentials that will get shoppers out of any Christmas conundrums and also details of a large number of stores that will open late on Christmas Eve and on Boxing Day to ensure you can pick up the items you need.

Last minute Christmas shopping list

As well as providing a selection of handy items to get customers through any last-minute panics, Central England Co-operative will also be open longer and later at the times when it matters to last-minute shoppers.

Hundreds of stores will be open longer across 16 counties with many open until late on Christmas Eve and many available on Boxing Day - just in case customers need to nip around the corner to pick up a forgotten item.
