Central England Co-operative Travel in St Neots has relocated to new yet familiar surroundings offering locals over 75 years of industry experience across its six-strong team.

The branch, which had been located within the Beales Department Store in the town, has reopened within the Central England Co-op Food Store in Old Great North Road.

The Central England Co-op Travel team will be well-known faces to holiday goers having decades of experience serving the community in St Neots, as well as extensive knowledge and expertise after spending their careers in the industry.

Debby Hellewell has been the Branch Manager for the past 13 years and brings over 21 years of experience in the travel industry to the team.

She said the team were looking forward to working alongside their colleagues in the food store and to continuing to offer a great service for their loyal customer base.

She said: “All the team here are local to St Neots and are passionate about giving a great service to our customers and it is always fantastic to see familiar faces coming back time and time again to book their holiday with us as they trust our judgement and our experience.

“Therefore, we are delighted to be continuing to serve the town in our new home and we are excited to be relocating to the local Central England Co-op Food Store. Many of the team there have booked holidays with us before, so we know many of them and they have already made us feel very welcome.”

Debby said that during what has been a very challenging time for the travel industry it is the team’s extensive knowledge and experience which makes them stand out to customers.

She said: “Between the six of us we calculated we have over 75 years of experience in the industry. We continue to have lots of regular customers who come to us as they believe that we are passionate about making sure they have the best holiday possible and have had a great experience with us in the past which is wonderful to hear.

“We even see people who have booked online elsewhere who come in to the branch for advice. We are happy to help, and many have said next time they will come back and book through us as they trust in the service we provide.

“With the combination we have of experience, travel knowledge and passion for what we do, I believe it makes us an excellent choice so please pop in and have a chat to see how we can support all your holiday needs.”

As well as Debby, the team is made up of Assistant Manager Charlotte Lawrence, as well as Travel Consultants Diane Neale, Hannah Pearce, Amy Hall and Tracey O’Driscoll.

The branch’s busy Travel Money bureau has also relocated as part of the move and is also available in the new branch.

The team can now be found at Central England Co-operative Travel within Central England Co-operative Food Store in Old Great North Road, St Neots. They can be contacted on 01480 406600 or email travel.stneots@centralengland.coop
