Staff at a Cambridgeshire Co-operative Travel branch have been celebrating after being named best of the best at a glamorous award ceremony.

The Co-operative Travel, based in Broad Street, March, beat off tough competition to land the coveted Branch of the Year award at an annual retail awards ceremony held in Cannes, France.

March Travel Branch Manager Natasha Thatcher said: “We are all so pleased to have won the award.

“We would like to thank all of our customers for their support over the years and I would personally like to thank all of my colleagues for their hard work and dedication.

“We saw off competition from 19 other branches to be named Branch of the Year and we were praised for our exceptional performance, commitment, customer service and community involvement.”
