Two new Derbyshire food stores to celebrate opening with golden ticket giveaway

Central England Co-operative is currently putting the finishing touches to two new Food Stores in 

Horsley Woodhouse and Inkersall – and is getting set to hand out special golden tickets to 100 lucky customers on launch day.

The Society will officially open both its new stores in Main Street, in Horsley Woodhouse, and Inkersall Green Road, Inkersall, at 9am on Friday, May 26, with a special ribbon cutting ceremony.

The first 50 shoppers to head through the doors at both stores will be handed a golden ticket with which they could win a variety of prizes including a 40” Smart LED TV, Kenwood smoothie maker, Nescafé Dolce Gusto coffee machine, Co-operative gift vouchers or an Irresistible Fairtrade chocolate bar.

Inkersall Central England Co-operative Store Manager Gary Bonsall said: “This is a very exciting time for everyone in the team and preparations for the big day are well under way. 

“Please come and join us at 9am on Friday, May 26, and you could be one of the 50 lucky customers to receive a golden ticket.

“There will be a great buzz on opening day and to celebrate the food store launch we will have plenty of special opening offers, we will be talking to customers about membership and how we can support in the local community. We look forward to seeing you there.”

A total of four hundred golden tickets were handed out to celebrate the opening of seven new Central England Co-operative stores across the country in 2016 and hundreds more already in 2017.

The new food stores will provide a wide range of products and services to meet the needs of the local community. Fixtures and fittings include the latest in energy efficient refrigeration and LED lighting. 

Both Co-operative food stores are open from 7am – 10pm every day. The stores offer a wide range of products from everyday necessities to something a little more special. The stores offer includes fresh and local fruit and vegetables, an in-store bakery offering breads and pastries, chilled beers and wines, fresh and frozen product, Irresistible product ranges, Bake and Bite and a great selection of food to go. 

The stores also offer Paypoint, Collect Plus, foreign currency, a free car park and a free cash machine.
