Customers are being invited to a day of celebrations to help Central England Co-operative’s Atherstone Supermarket to mark its 20th anniversary.

The store, which is based in Station Street, is marking two decades of serving customers and members in the area by hosting a special community celebration day on Saturday.

The event will run from 10am to 2pm and will involve a range of activities for all the family including a cake sale, book stall, tombola and fun and games for children.

There will also be a prize draw with £50 of Co-op vouchers. All money raised on the day will be donated to the retailer’s corporate charity Dementia UK.

Atherstone Store Manager Kev Morris said: “We are so proud to have been part of the this community for the past 20 years and we wanted to share our big day with our customers and members.

“We hope everyone comes along this weekend and helps us mark the occasion, all while having some fun at the same time.”
