Central England Co-operative Prize Draw Promotion  

  1. Central England Co-operative Limited (the “Promoter”) is offering customers a chance to win a £100 food voucher to spend in a Participating Store by entering into this prize draw competition (the “Promotion”).

  2. The Promotion is open to any customer aged 16 or over at the time of entry. Employees of the Promoter and other persons connected with the administration of the Promotion are not eligible to enter the Prize Draw.

  3. “Participating Store” means any of the Promoter’s food stores, fuelling stations, travel or funeral outlets, a list of which can be found at: https://www.centralengland.coop/stores/. “Prize Draw Period” means from 1 November 2019 until the Promotor discontinues this promotion.

  4. To enter the Prize Draw, entrants must, during the Prize Draw Period:

    1. make a purchase at any Participating Store; and

    2. visit the Promoter’s webpage at https://feedback.coop and:

      1. complete the survey as directed on the webpage, giving feedback on their purchase experience;

      2. opt-in to be entered into the Prize Draw;

      3. provide the personal contact information requested and specify a preferred method of contact in the event of winning a Prize Draw.

  5. During the Prize Draw Period there will be one prize draw on the first Friday of each month (the “Prize Draw”). All entries into the Promotion submitted between 00:00 of the first day of any calendar month and 23:59 on the last day of the same calendar month will be entered into the Prize Draw taking place on the first Friday of the next calendar month, save that:

    1. the first Prize Draw of this Promotion will take place on Friday 1 November 2019 and the winning entry will be drawn from all entries submitted to the Promotion between 00:00 on 8 October 2019 and 23:59 on 31 October 2019; and

    2. the last Prize Draw of the Promotion will take place on the first Friday after the last day of the Prize Draw Period, and the winning entry will be drawn from all entries submitted to the Promotion between 00:00 on the first day of the calendar month in which the last day of the Prize Draw Period occurs and 23:59 on the last day of the Prize Draw Period.

  6. Each entry into this Promotion that is submitted by an entrant will only qualify for entry into the next scheduled Prize Draw and will be removed from the pool of entries for any and all subsequent Prize Draws during the Prize Draw Period. However, an entrant can submit a new entry into the Promotion, including into any particular Prize Draw, each time the steps at clause 3 are repeated within the Prize Draw Period. An entrant can therefore submit multiple entries into the Promotion and/or any specific Prize Draw by repeating the steps at clause 4 during the Prize Draw Period.

  7. The £100 food voucher the winner of each Prize Draw will receive (the “Voucher”) is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any other product or cash alternative in whole or in part (and for the avoidance of doubt, no change in the form of cash, vouchers or otherwise will be given for the remainder of any unspent value of the Voucher) and is subject to the terms and conditions stated on, or provided with, the Voucher. The Voucher cannot be exchanged for: cash, cigarettes and tobacco, agency or E-Top up, currency, lottery and scratch cards, gift cards, PayPoint, Payzone, postage stamps, saving stamps, first stage baby milk products and in-store concessions.

  8. The Promoter will notify the winning entrant after each Prize Draw individually via the preferred method of contact specified by the entrant on entering the Prize Draw. Each winning entrant will, within thirty (30) days of the entrant being notified of their winning entry, be sent the Voucher.

  9. Entrants will need an internet connection in order to participate in a Prize Draw. No refund may be claimed for expenses incurred in participating in the Prize Draw, including in relation to the use of the internet. 

  10. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any entries that it believes to be fraudulent or non-compliant with the eligibility criteria in these terms and conditions. The Promoter further reserves the right to exclude any entrant who the Promoter believes has contravened any of these terms and conditions and if applicable to select an alternative winner at random, at its own discretion.

  11. By participating in the Promotion, entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Promotion terms and conditions.

  12. The decisions of the Promoter in respect of this Promotion and each Prize Draw are final and no correspondence will be entered into in this respect.

  13. If for any reason any aspect of the Promotion is not capable of running as planned then the Promoter may in its absolute and sole discretion suspend, cancel, terminate or modify the Promotion without any liability to any entrant or any other person. Entrants must take their own precautions (including but not limited to installing adequate protective measures to guard against software viruses and ensuring that up-to-date copies are made of all data) to protect entrants against loss or damage.

  14.   16. To the fullest extent permitted by law and excluding death or personal injury caused as a result of negligence the Promoter accepts no liability for loss or injury as a result of the Promotion or receipt or misuse of any products that any entrant receives as a result of the Promotion.

  17. The Promotion is governed by the laws of England and Wales. The Promoter and all entrants agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.  

 

Central England Co-operative Funeralcare Twitter tributes

1. Christmas Memories terms and conditions: By including the Central England Co-operative Funeralcare handle, @mycooplife, in addition to the dedicated hashtag #mycoopstar, Twitter users are opting in to participate in the Central England Co-operative Christmas Memories remembrance of a lost loved-one and permitting Central England Co-operative to reproduce their Twitter content.  The tweets that feature the specified handle, @mycooplife, along with the defined hashtag, #mycoopstar, along with a bespoke tribute message by the Twitter author will be reproduced on our seasonal Christmas website section up until 22:59 on 31 December 2019 on the understanding that the act of sending the tweet - inclusive of these attributes – permits Central England Co-operative to post the Twitter content on its website and that the ownership of content within the individual Twitter tributes rests with the author(s) of the tweet(s) and not with Central England Co-operative.

2. Participants who choose to opt in to the Christmas Memories Twitter activity are deemed to be the authors and owners of the content contained within the Twitter posts and Central England Co-operative cannot accept responsibility for republication of posts on its website where another user’s tweet has been retweeted with comment – inclusive of the @mycooplife handle and the #mycoopstar hashtag. Permission should be sought from the original author of a tweet, where a user opts to include @mycooplife and #mycoopstar within a retweet with comment and with the intention of opting in to share the retweet with comment content via the Central England Co-operative Christmas Memories website page.

3.Central England Co-operative reserves the right to withdraw selected tributes from its website if the content has not met our moderation standard, which is at the discretion of the moderator and we regret that we cannot comment on individual decisions to remove content.  Central England Co-operative also reserves the right to remove emoji content from a tribute which cannot be replicated on its website and cannot accept responsibility if this subsequently changes the tone or meaning of the Twitter content which is republished through the Christmas Memories activity.

 

Christmas Competition Terms and Conditions (Central England Co-operative Limited)

Win a holiday to Lapland  

Central England Co-operative Christmas competition

1. Central England Co-operative Limited, of Central House, Hermes Road, Lichfield, Staffordshire WS13 6RH, (the “Promoter”) is offering entrants a chance to win a holiday to Lapland, provided by Co-operative Travel Limited (the “Provider”), worth up to the value of £4,000 by entering its Christmas prize draw competition (the “Competition”).

2. The Competition is open to anyone aged 16 or over at the time of entry. Employees of the Promoter and other persons connected with the administration of the Competition are not eligible to enter the Competition.

3. Entrants can enter the Competition from 07:00 on 06/11/2019 and until 23:59 on 24/12/2019(the “Entry Period”). To the extent that entries are received by the Promoter after the expiry of the Entry Period, they will not be entered into the prize draw.

4. To enter the Competition, entrants must during the Entry Period visit the Competition webpage at www.prize.coop and provide the requested contact information and agree to receive future marketing content from the Promoter. Entrants can opt-out of receiving marketing communications at any time after entering the Competition.

5. Individuals can make unlimited entries into the Competition.

6. The winning entrant will win the Prize (defined below) and will be selected at random on 5 January 2020 from all entries into the Competition submitted during the Entry Period. The Promoter will notify the winning entrant via the email address that is provided, when the winning entrant’s Competition entry is submitted and will provide further details about how the Prize (defined below) should be redeemed.

7. The prize consists of a trip to Lapland up to the value of £4,000, for up to a maximum of two adults and up to a maximum of two children.

8. For the purposes of these terms and conditions, an adult is any person aged 15 or over, and a child is any person aged 15 on the return to the UK or below, in either case at the time of travel. At least one party to the booking must be over the age of 18.

9. To claim the Prize, the winning entrant must contact the Provider to make a booking for the trip. The entrant does not need to be party to the booking. The booking must be made on or before 31/03/2020 and have a scheduled departure date of between 20 November 2020 – 22 December 2020. Flights must depart from any UK airports. The Provider is a member of ABTA and all flights are fully protected by the Civil Aviation Authority’s ATOL scheme.

11. No insurance cover of any kind is included with the Prize, and if the winning entrant wishes to obtain any insurance cover in relation to the Prize, they will need to obtain it themselves and the Promoter makes no warranties or representations as to the nature or extent of any insurance cover that can be obtained in respect of the Prize.

Store Opening Promotional Terms and Conditions

Free Costa Coffee

Central England Co-operative promotion at Lynn Road, Dersingham and Brooklime Way, Tamworth

1. Central England Co-operative Limited (the “Promoter”) is offering a free Eligible Costa Coffee to customers to celebrate the opening of its new store at Lynn Road, Dersingham and its new store at Brooklime Way, Tamworth (the “Store”) (the “Promotion”).

2. The Promotion is open to all individuals aged 16 or over at the time of entry. Employees of Promoter and other persons connected with the administration of the Promotion are not eligible to enter the Promotion.

3. To participate in the Promotion, entrants must: either:

i) attend the Store and enter a valid email address belonging to the entrant on the relevant computer or tablet in Store identified as relating to the Promotion; or

ii) visit https://www.centralengland.coop/dersingham and, where indicated, enter a valid email address belonging to the entrant; and select the relevant box to agree to receive future communications from the Promoter relating to future promotional offers via the email address provided.  

4. Entrants who complete the steps in clause 3 will receive to the submitted email address an electronic voucher entitling them to one Eligible Costa Coffee (the “Voucher”). The Voucher will be valid from 22nd November – 29th November 2019 after the Promotion is entered by the entrant. The expiry date of the Voucher will be stated on the Voucher and will not be extended for any reason.  

5. To redeem the Voucher an entrant must attend the Store during its open hours with a copy of the Voucher in either: (1) electronic format displayed on a smart phone or tablet; or (2) printed paper format. In either case, the bar code of the Voucher must be clear and legible. An entrant must select an Eligible Costa Coffee of the entrant’s choice (subject to availability) from the self-service Costa coffee machine situated in the Store. The participant must take the Eligible Costa Coffee to the Store check-out and present the Voucher to a store assistance for processing. If the Voucher is not valid, or the drink selected is not an Eligible Costa Coffee, the participant must pay for the full value of the selected drink.

6. The following drinks are Eligible Costa Coffees: any regular sized coffee drink: Latte, Mocha Cappuccino, Americano, While Americano, Hot Chocolate, Vanilla Latte and Camera Chocolate available from the Costa coffee machine situated in the Store (subject to availability on the day on which the Voucher is redeemed).

7. The Voucher is only eligible for use at the Store and cannot be exchanged at any other store of the Promoter or any other premises or venue selling Costa Coffee.

8. The Voucher can only be used once and is limited to one Eligible Costa Coffee.

9. The Voucher is valid until the time and date stated on it and cannot be extended for any reason. By participating in the Promotion, entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Promotion terms and conditions.

10. There is a limit of one Voucher per person. If the Promoter becomes aware of multiple entries into the Promotion from the same entrant, it reserves the right to cancel all Vouchers associated with the relevant entrant.

11. The Voucher has no cash value and is non-transferable, is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any other product or cash alternative in whole or in part.

Win a Premier League club’s shirt of your choice Central England Co-operative Prize Draw Promotion  

1. Central England Co-operative Limited (the “Promoter”) is running a prize draw offering customers a chance to win a current Premier League club’s shirt of the winner’s choice (subject to these terms and conditions), by entering into this prize draw competition  (the “Prize Draw”).  Entrants are not able to select which of these prizes they wish to receive if they are selected as a winner of the Prize Draw.

2. The Prize Draw is open to any UK resident (excluding residents of the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man) aged 16 or over at the time of entry. Employees of the Promoter and other persons connected with the administration of the Prize Draw are not eligible to enter the Prize Draw.

3. The Prize Draw is being run in association with the Promoter’s store at 80 High Street, Erdington, Birmingham (the “Store”). Subject to paragraph ?2, there are no geographical restrictions on entry into the Prize Draw. However the Prizes must be collected from the Store personally by the winning entrants, and winning entrants will need to make their own arrangements for travel to the Store and collection of their Prize, at their own cost. Prizes will not be posted.

4. Entry into the Prize Draw opens at 07:00 on 13 December 2019 and closes at 23:59 on 20 December 2019 (the “Prize Draw Period”). To enter the Prize Draw, entrants must, during the Prize Draw Period: a. visit the Promoter’s webpage at www.centralengland.coop/football and: i. provide the personal contact information requested and specify a preferred method of contact in the event of winning the Prize Draw; ii. opt-in to be entered into the Prize Draw; and iii. agree to receiving future marketing communications from the Promoter.

5. No purchase is necessary to enter the Prize Draw.

6. There is a limit of one entry per person to the Prize Draw. Multiple entries from the same entrant to the Prize Draw will be counted as one entry.

7. The prize available is: a. a replica football shirt of any football club registered to play in the Football Association Premier League Limited’s ‘Premier League’ during the 2019/20 season (the shirt will come as manufactured and not with any Premier League printing such as player names, numbers and/or other customisations)(the “Premier League Shirt”).

8. Following the expiry of the Prize Draw Period, on or before 31 December 2019, the Promoter will randomly select two entries from all qualifying entries into the Prize Draw. The first entry randomly selected will win the Premier League Shirt. The Promoter will notify the winning entrant after the Prize Draw individually via the preferred method of contact specified by the entrant on entering the Prize Draw. The winning entrant must reply to the Promoter by the method specified in the notification by no later than 5 January 2020 and the winner of the Premier League Shirt must, in their reply to the Promoter, specify their club and size preferences for the same. Failure by a winning entrant to reply and provide the requested information may result in forfeiture by that entrant of their Prize.

9. The Promoter will contact the winning entrant again when the relevant Prize is ready for collection from the Store.

10. When attending the Store to collect the Prize, the wining entrant must bring with them ID documentation for verification of their age and identity.

11. The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any other product or cash alternative in whole or in part.

12. Entrants will need an internet connection in order to participate in a Prize Draw. No refund may be claimed for expenses incurred in participating in the Prize Draw, including in relation to the use of the internet.
