Co-op opens new travel store in Atherstone as part of £45k investment

Central England Co-operative opened the doors to its new travel store in Atherstone as part of a £45,000 investment.

The opening of the brand new travel store, based inside its Food Store, in Station Street, comes after the Society reached an agreement to transfer six Travel branches in total – including Atherstone – from Thomas Cook earlier this year.

Atherstone Travel Store Manager Emma Fawcett said: “Our team were so excited to finally allow our members and customers to see our new-look travel store.

“It looks fantastic and already customers have been making many positive comments about how it looks and the different products and services now available.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank customers for their patience during the refresh and hopefully everyone will enjoy the revamped store as much as we do.

“All of us here at Atherstone Travel Store are proud to be part of such a great community and are looking forward to welcoming all customers to come and enjoy our new travel store.”

The new Atherstone Travel Store will offer a range of holidays at competitive advice – backed by open, honest and totally impartial advice for all travel needs.

The store will also offer competitive currency exchange rates, a wide choice of tour operators and is ABTA and ATOL approved.

Customers will also be able to enjoy further benefits if they use their Central England Co-op member card when buying a holiday at the new store.

The Atherstone Travel Store is open from 9am – 5.30pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and 9.30am – 5.30pm Tuesday.
